Hello Rooters,
I changed to the new rootsweb query system:

This new query system has some features which are very helpful for me
and you!

First, I don't have to upload your emails, your query is online at once.

Second, you can be notified automatically when someone responds to your
query,
see describtion of notifications below.
Third, it is a searchable database! You even can search through the
whole world!!

Now the bad news:

Unfortunately there is no possiblity to import the old queries you
submitted.
That's why I ask you to resubmit your queries again.
This request has a simple cause:
Your submitted names will be searchable.
I 'll keep the old queries for a while (probably 'till summer).
Before I 'll remove the old queries you 'll be informed in time.
I 'm sorry about those circumstances, but except "Copy and Paste"
there is no chance to put them on the new system.
As there are now more than 1000 queries on these pages, I hope you see,
that I can't do that job for each query!


RESPONSE NOTIFICATION:

Users may request automatic response notification of their query. If a
response is posted to the board - they will receive email telling them
that
someone has posted a response to their query. Users can check the box
before they post their query to receive this option.


EMAIL NOTIFICATION LIST:

The Email Notification list will send email whenever ANYONE posts to the
web
board -- IT IS DIFFERENT than the response notification check box. Users
can subscribe to this list by placing their email address in the
Subscription box at the bottom of the page. They can delete their name
by revisiting the board and choosing the delete name option.
